If you have experience of managing programmes working with people with significant barriers to employment and are full of energy, drive with a can-do attitude, BITC is currently looking for an Employment Programme Manager to run our GREAT project. This represents a great opportunity for an experienced project manager to develop their skills in cross-sector partnership and see the impact of their work first-hand.

Salary: £29,000 per annum
Business in the Community is currently seeking exceptional individuals to join our Getting Ready for Employment and Training (GREAT) Project. This project is jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund and will run until September 2019.
The project will work with up to 600 family members across Leicester and Leicestershire who are furthest away from the labour market and may be at risk of social exclusion. The aim of the Project is to provide tailored and flexible support to enable participants to engage with a range of support services and activities, including training and work experience opportunities, to help them progress towards and into employment.
We are currently looking for an Employment Programme Manager to run the day to day project management including running work readiness activities, recruiting business volunteers and develop a work experience programme.
This role will be responsible for working with people facing multiple barriers and supporting them into employment as well as engaging and supporting effective relationships with community and voluntary sector organisations.
You will have experience of managing employability/training programmes working with people with significant barriers to employment, the ability to develop cross-sector partnerships and a passion for making a difference to people’s futures.
