PMLD/SLD Teacher

Our Client School are looking for an experienced teacher with a background working with PMLD. The successful candidate should have experience of working with young people with complex and challenging behaviours, to support them in their learning and life skills development. You must therefore, have the interpersonal skills needed to effectively communicate with staff and students.

The role will initially be on a temporary basis, however there is the possibility of it becoming long term or even permanent for the right candidate. An immediate start is available.

This is a great opportunity for somebody with some PMLD/SLD experience to further their skills and knowledge in this sector. It is also a chance to work in an Outstanding SEN School and share best practice with experienced teachers who have helped put the school in that position.

Our client is an all-age special school for children and young people aged 3-19 with severe and profound learning difficulties. Their last Ofsted Inspection graded them as Outstanding in all areas, quoting that the Principle has inspired a dynamic vision with the pupils and their development and that the pupils' behaviour and attitudes in lessons are outstanding.
