To this end, a new, exciting and challenging permanent role has been created in the finance function for a Project Accountant.The role:Reporting into the Head of Strategic Finance you will:Support and act as deputy for the Head of Strategic Finance in relation to Transformation projects, including responsibility for specific team wide tasks.Develop or provide input to transformation projects within finance or across the Trust as assigned, including the development of partnerships and commercial ventures.Engage with clinical and non-clinical staff in the business of the Trust and of the project, and providing a professional financial input to projects to ensure successful outcomes.Support the financial delivery of the Trust's transformation projects and to develop the modelling and monitoring of these long term plans.Support the Director of Transformation and lead the financial support required to deliver the Cost Improvement Plan (CIP) from the outcomes of transformation projects, and assist in the management of the planning and implementation of specific CIP schemes and delivery of the overall CIP programme.The PersonYou must have a high level of drive, creativity, resilience and strong interpersonal, relationship and networking skills.
