A large secondary school with an excellent reputation in Colchester is seeking to appoint an English teacher to start work with immediate effect. The post is initially on a week by week basis, with the potential of leading to a longer term contract for the right English teacher. The Head Teacher is looking for someone with a positive attitude to teaching, an enthusiastic and dynamic approach and has high expectations of learning. The English teacher will be able to effectively communicate and interact with students of mixed abilities. The English teacher will have excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and have a real passion for their chosen specialism. They will need a wide variety of classroom management techniques to create a calm and productive environment within the classroom.
