Major UK Design and Supply Lighting Consultancy Our client is a renowned and established Lighting company with impressive and increasing demand for their lighting projects. These Lighting projects work on a Supply and Design basis, so the products and all the design of the new Lighting will be 'under one roof'. These are major Lighting Projects within Commerce/Workspaces, Leisure, Hospitality and Retail. Responsibilities Manages key customer accounts and customers allocatedMaintains, develops and increases sales revenue of key customer accounts and customers allocated focusing on Design & Supply marketIdentify, target and develop new customers to increase company revenue focusing on Design & Supply marketEstablishes relationships with customers to become their key point of contact at clientProvide customers with appropriate specification and quotations for their needsTakes full responsibility for all work and quotations issued to clients being correctTakes full responsibility for all work you bring into the officeGive clear direction client designers working on your projects to ensure fast and accurate turnaround.Assist customers with all project design enquires and ensure design work is completed and issued to them in the requested project timescalesEnsure profitability of all projects and maintain target GP on all projectsAssist customers with all technical product enquiresReply to customer correspondence promptly and professionally in order to maintain and develop customer relationships and increase revenue.Research potential new customers via networking, press, media and through existing contacts, Make contact with new customers to discuss exploring opportunities.Book regular appointments to visit existing and new customers to present the work or client Lighting and discuss potential working relationship.Update the Directors on number of meetings and potential for new businessWork to turn customer meetings into projects and salesAnalyse market trends in terms of products and design and ensure customers and client Lighting benefit from new opportunities and continually improving end results to maintain the company as a market leader.Develop personal negotiating skills.Develop company sales strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operationsProtect client's value by keeping information confidentialUpdate job and market knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizationsEnhance client's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsTo attend company meetings as required by the DirectorsTo regularly attend networking events including but limited to ALL industry events whether during or outside of working hours. Use these events to identify and target new business opportunitiesTo assist with fault finding, commissioning and programming on projects as required.Attend the handover of all your clients projects and liaise with the client and contractor team to ensure they are satisfied and are committed to client for the next projectProvide Directors with a written monthly update on new business targets and progress in the form of a written spreadsheet report
