Established Jersey hotel is seeking an accomplished HR Manager, Start Date Jan 2017Reporting to the General Manager and supported by the Group Personnel and Training Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operation of the HR/personnel and training function for up to 180 staff.Responsibilities will include:Ensure company policies and procedures are applied and that the company's core values are maintained.Supporting all managers and HODs with regard to recruitment, induction and training, staff welfare and performance management and other personnel matters.Manage the staff assessment and appraisal system with departmental managersManage weekly payroll, reports and forecasting and budgets.Ensure all staff files are up to date and accurate, seeking appropriate authorisations and references.Duty Management shiftsTraining & DevelopmentRequired qualifications and skills:Previous experience of HR, ideally in a hotel, minimum 3 years.Head of department level recruitment experience3rd level qualification in HRM or similar, CIPD qualification preferred.Time management and communication skillsGood knowledge of all aspects of hotel operationsSalary dependent on experienceAccommodation in private studio accommodation including all bills available, at a small fee Berkeley Scott is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
