Person Specification - Communication Assistant Position
This role requires a versatile Speech and Language Therapy graduate who has previous experience supporting children who have communication barriers whilst on Speech and Language placements at university. It is essential for you to possess the ability to communicate effectively with both pupils and teachers to ensure an understanding of the task at hand. The ideal Speech and Language Therapy graduate should be able to inspire pupils to work hard and be enthusiastic in all situations.
About the Role - Communication Assistant Position
In this Communication Assistant position you will be working on a 1:1 basis with small groups of children who require individual support with communication and Speech and Language. This Communication Assistant Position will not affect your competencies and will provide you with excellent pre-Band 5 experience.
