Joinery Designer

We are seeking contract CAD team members to deliver high quality drawings for manufacture and installation on several high-end residential joinery projects across the UK. You will need to be able to travel to site at various locations across London and the South West to understand the scope of works for each element of the project but thereafter the work can be done at any location. Delivering the drawings on time and with no errors is crucial.We are seeking people who have a proven track record in providing drawings for manufacture and installation and be able to consider all of the working parts of an area when drawing being accurate and clear at all times.The opportunity will only suit candidates who have a background in contracting and who can demonstrate previous skills in ascertaining what needs to be drawn to allow for efficient timescales between architect sign off and installation and who have a clear understanding of furniture. You will need to be able to produce workshop drawings that will enable makers to produce items.In return for your skills we can offer exposure to some of the most interesting projects in the UK currently as well as extremely competitive rates of pay. Successful applicants will be asked for a portfolio.
