Line Maintenance Control Engineer
Salary GBP50,000

One of Europe's leading cargo airlines is creating a new role (x3) at their Coventry site. This is an exciting time for the company; new projects now require additional technical support to ensure aircraft remain flying safely.
The Line Maintenance Control Engineer is responsible for all Technical matters relating to the reliable, on-time departure of aircraft. The role will follow a set shift pattern.
The Role
* Providing effective and timely technical support to the Line Engineers, Flight Crews and The Operations Control Centre.
* Support and manage information regarding AOG recovery plans.
* Liaise with Part M post Holder and the Operations Control Centre Manager.
* Manage and oversea the Line Maintenance plan, ensuring Operations are aware of Maintenance inputs, Line Service Checks, ADD's and HIL's.
* Support and ensure adequate defect planning is carried out on a regular basis allowing control of ADD's and HIL's.
* Providing technical support to Line Engineers performing trouble shooting of defects and repetitive defects.
* Ensuring any guidance is given in accordance with Part M and Part 145 procedures and Technical Instructions with reference to the AMM.
* Liaising with the Operations Control Centre on all technical matters, ensuring up to date, accurate information is conveyed to the relevant departments.
Person Specification
* Hold an EASA B1 and/or B2 license.
* Hold an engineering qualification e.g. HND.
* Hold current EWIS, FTS and HF Certificates.
* Effective and positive team player.
* Excellent and confident communication skills, written and verbal.
* Ability to prioritise.
* Organised with good attention to detail.
* Able to analyse situations expediently and effectively.
* Proactive approach to problem solving.
* Base and line experience an advantage.
* Previous experience on B737, B767, Bae ATP, CRJ
