Assistant Site Manager
Due to extended growth and a healthy order book now and for the foreseeable my client, a bespoke developer are now looking to add Assistant Site Managers to their production team and run sites across Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
Summary of the Role:
To assist the Site Manager in managing the development of the site from groundwork's through to completion, conducting all site inductions, deal with subcontractors, Health & Safety and ensuring the build programme is worked to
Responsibilities:
•Support the Site Manager on a daily basis in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
•Accept responsibility for such duties and responsibilities as the Site Manager may set; in particular, as and when required, deputise for the Site Manager.
•Support the Site Manager, in ensuring that the on-site Construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these, in terms of communication, training and development, and the organisation of the site's workload and resources.
Qualifications and skills:
-Experience of working within established build programs with either high volume or bespoke developers
- Ensure delivery of targets by on-site team and trades/labour.
- Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
- As In depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction industry and the relevant legislative requirements e.g. Health and Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum
