A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Weighbridge Operator to join an Environmental Waste Management firm in Coventry.
My client is a market leader in the design and implementation of ground and water remediation solutions for land restoration. Their applied technologies for contaminated soil and water treatment, together with an expert waste management capability, delivers measurable, cost and programme benefits for all their Clients.
Principle responsibilities;
?? Operate the Weighbridge and accurately record the weight and other specified details of vehicles both entering and leaving the site.
?? Where appropriate, implement the Company's charges for the acceptance of waste, the weighing of vehicles and sale of materials
?? Complete accurate and detailed records for the export of materials in line with legislation
?? Collate detailed and summarised records by inputting information onto the computer and extracting statistics on a weekly/monthly basis for the site Supervisor
?? Issue instructions to drivers of vehicles entering and leaving site as required to ensure Health and Safety and operational procedures are adhered to
Skills & Qualifications
?? Previous experience within a similar role is required to be successful in this position
?? Good all round administrative ability
?? Numerical ability with attention to detail
?? Methodical and organised
?? Knowledge of waste legislation would be desirable
?? Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
?? An effective team member with good communication skills
?? IT literate; Word, Excel, WIMMS, SAP Suitable applicants will have prior experience working as a Weighbridge Clerk/Operator
