Senior Credit Controller (Part-Time 25 hours)

Following the formation of TP Industrial UK Ltd, part of the Pirelli Group, at the beginning of 2016, an exciting to new position has arisen. TPI are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join their dedicated finance function, on a part time basis, based You’ll be working at their Burton on Trent site.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be:

• Qualified in ICM / AAT or have relevant qualifying experience
• Experience working in a busy credit function
•  Experience with decision making / setting limits 
• Proficient in IT, particularly with Excel 
• Adaptable and flexible with the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent at communicating with people at all levels

Due to TPI’s Pirelli’s development, this is a brand-new role; they’re looking for those who thrive under pressure. Ideally, you will have some experience using SAP but training will be provided for the right candidate.     

Your role will include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Achievement of monthly collection targets and Account and ledger reconciliations  
• Account master data maintenance, cash allocation, direct debits and query management
• Building & maintaining relationships with key accounts & colleagues whilst successfully collecting monies
• Perform credit check on new and existing customers, monitoring and controlling customer credit limits, setting and reviewing them and making the decision to suspend accounts where necessary 
• Producing month end and management reports, cash flow forecasting and managing credit insurance 
• Reviewing and assisting solicitors/debt collection agencies, attending creditors meetings and court where necessary and dealing with insolvency matters
