This professional, family run car & van rental-company operating throughout the South East, currently has over 10 branches running a fleet of over a thousand vehicles. This is a great opportunity to join an ever increasing company.

If yes, then this is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading independent vehicle hire companies in the South East. They are looking for an experienced Branch Manager at their Chertsey office who has the energy and enthusiasm to drive the business forward.

With support from head office when you need it, you'll be fully responsible for every aspect of the Branch. You'll manage rentals, develop staff, coordinate the workshop, handle HR issues, work on new initiatives and most importantly, ensure that customer service levels are second to none.


You will need to be a hands-on leader, someone who naturally role models great behavior. You'll work alongside your team:

- Organising effectively the smooth and efficient running of the branch operation including a full workshop.
- Supporting satellite locations with vehicles and staff.
- Motivating, training and encouraging all staff members and
- Providing customers with the kind of service that makes them want to come back time and time again.

What you will need:

If you enjoy getting involved with all aspects of their work, have natural charisma and a real understanding of the commercial side of things, this could be the role for you. They are looking for a confident salesperson, a motivator with a shrewd business head with:

- At least two years previous staff management or supervisory experience
- A proven track record of management or supervisory experience, including recruitment and staff development within a retail or similar environment.
- Excellent customer service with the determination to inspire success within your team.
- Able to work in a robust environment with a good sense of humor.
- Experience with the Prohire booking system would be an advantage or other computer based car hire booking systems.

Working at their Chertsey Location, you will be working 45-50 hours per week on a salary of £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus branch monthly bonus and yearly company bonus (OTE £31,600). Additional benefits include access to Company Pension Scheme, healthcare (after probation period) and half price vehicle hire.
