A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Workplace Adjustment Specialist to work for a leading supplier of Assistive Technology and disability related management solutions. Based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, the successful Workplace Adjustment Specialist will earn a salary of £16,000 per annum depending on experience. 

Working in partnership with the leading manufacturers of assistive technology, this award-winning technology company provides support and problem-solving expertise to a variety of sectors, helping educators enhance their learning and communication through the use of technology. 

As a Workplace Adjustment Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering Specialist workplace adjustment reviews, your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Delivering specialist workplace adjustment reviews for individuals in a variety of formats, along with producing the accompanying recommendation document in-line with key performance indicators and contract requirements
  • Delivering specialist workplace adjustment reviews for individuals in a variety of formats, e.g. fast track, remote assessment, face-face assessments.
  • Identifying the relevant impact and barriers individuals face in their work environment and job role and make suitable reasonable adjustment recommendations from a broad range of solutions, e.g. Workstation/DSE set up, Assistive Technology, Non-physical adjustments etc.
  • Producing recommendation documents, e.g. Fast Track Form, Assessment Report of a high quality in line with contract requirements and key performance indicators.
  • Keeping up to date with all relevant contract and delivery requirements, reasonable adjustment recommendations, disabilities, conditions and legislation through continuous professional development/training
The successful Workplace Adjustment Specialist will have achieved registration or qualification in one of the following specialities; ergonomics, physiotherapy, occupational psychology, SpLD diagnostician, counselling, rehabilitation service, assistive technology, accessibility. In addition, you must possess the following key skills and experience:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Genuine enthusiasm and commitment to provide an exceptional service
  • Demonstrable ability to show initiative and work as part of a team
