Job Opportunity for SEN Science Teacher in Lancaster

This secondary SEN school is currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to start a long term contract from January 2017. The school have established a really good reputation reputation through working closely with parents, carers and other agencies to ensure that they adapt programmes to best meet individual needs. They have a strong team ethos and fantastic support network in each department.

This role is teaching chemistry, biology and physics to small groups of secondary aged children who have additional learning needs. You will be responsible for planning, preparing and marking work, ensuring the pupils are on track to hit projected grades and preparing them for exams and attending any after school meetings / parents evenings as required.

You will be required to undertake this role as if you where a permanent member of staff and will be welcomed as so by the team within the department. You must be a qualified Science Teacher with QTS to be considered for this role, the school will consider an NQT providing that you have the passion, drive and enthusiasm for delivering the science curriculum to the high standard expected by the school.
