LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Salary: *£41,269 - £42,915 (*starting salary) includes £10K non pensionable market supplement
Hours of work: Full Time
Location: Leicester

They are looking for a creative and highly organised Learning and Development (L & D) manager, to join the HR team and plan, organise and coordinate a wide range of learning and development activities including arranging organisational, individual and induction training for their 200 employees spread throughout the UK and its (non-welfare) volunteers.

The L&D Manager leads the analysis of learning and development needs, design and delivery of the Association’s learning and development plans to support and develop their employees and (non-welfare) volunteers, and works in close partnership with managers, employees and trustees.

This is a relatively new, stand-alone post, within a small HR team, so the post holder must be prepared to take on the widest range of L&D activity including setting up systems, processes and records, with limited admin support. This role is particularly suited to someone who is confident, able to use their initiative, and capable of organising and managing a diverse workload.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level or have similar learning and development experience. They will also have experience of designing learning and development modules and materials, developing competency frameworks, use of eLearning and Learning Management Systems.

The post is based at our client's new Head Office at Braunstone Frith and is not suited to someone wanting to work from home. The post holder will be required to travel throughout the country on occasions and therefore a driving licence is essential.

Closing Date for receipt of all applications is 2pm on Thursday 20th October 2016
Interviews will be held during the week commencing 24th October 2016
