Contract: 8.30am - 4.30pm (5 days per week), 42 weeks per annum

Clyst Vale is a popular 11-18 Community College situated 5 miles from Exeter with specialisms in Science, Maths and Computing. OFSTED rated us Good in July 2015 and our results are consistently above national (72% 5ACEM in 2015). An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join us in a key role within the support staff at Clyst Vale. Under the guidance of the College Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the finance department and ensuring the college meets all of its financial duties as set out in our funding agreement with the EFA.
A minimum AAT level 3 qualification is essential. Experience of managing staff and working in an Academy or similar environment is desirable and knowledge of PS Financials accounting system and HCSS budgeting would be an advantage, however full training will be given. The role is both demanding and varied and a flexible approach to working and a sense of humour are essential.
