JH Group are looking to recruit a motivated and proactive accounts & office manager to support the MD in the day to day running of a busy construction and groundworks company based in North Somerset.

Accounts Role Duties:
• Support MD & External Accountants
• Purchase invoice processing and purchase ledger control
• Sales invoice processing and sales ledger control
• Bank reconciliations
• CIS statements
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• General data entry using Sage
• Assist with general day to day running of accounts department

Office Manager Duties
· General administration – detailing with company emails, enquiries, answering phone calls
· Management and preparation of health & safety documents for construction and groundwork projects
· Liaising with third party H&S adviser as required
· Supporting Supervisors/Site Managers with project administration
· Dealing with recruitment 
· HR Duties – preparing contracts, carrying out new starter introductions
· Administration of company policies and documents 
· Fleet management
· PQQ submissions, Company accreditation applications and renewals
· Managing and updating Subcontractor’s daily timesheets, keep records up to date to ensure compliance
· General administration duties to support Managing Director

The ideal candidate:‬‬
• ‬Previous experience of using accounting software sage
• Excellent knowledge of the building and construction industry
• Good knowledge of using Microsoft Packages
• A highly motivated work ethic and fine eye for detail
• Self-efficient and a problem solver
• Dedicated and pioneering
• Innovative with systems and process to improve efficiency
• Reliable in attendance and have a desire for achievement
• Must be motivated to work on own
