Position: Preventative Maintenance Scheduler
Location: Salfords, Surrey
Salary: £19,000 to £21,000

The Preventative Maintenance Scheduler Role:
The primary purpose of the Preventative Maintenance Scheduler is to take ownership and the daily management of EMEA services preventative maintenance commitments.

You will be working closely with service co-ordination and service engineers to arrange customer visits both in the UK and overseas. 

The Preventative Maintenance Scheduler will also be responsible for tracking and regularly reporting to service management on service planning performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Preventative Maintenance Scheduler:
  • First point of contact for customers and field engineers on all preventative service maintenance related issues
  • Arranging UK Service engineers’ maintenance service visits directly with customers. Working closely with service co-ordinators to confirm engineers’ availability and ensuring that engineers’ time is utilised efficiently. Contacting customers if scheduled maintenance needs to be re-arranged
  • Keeping company ERP system (Nav 5.0/CRM) and Preventative Maintenance Tracking Document up to date and as accurate as possible; communicating contract changes both externally and internally
  • Tracking performance on all maintenance contract service commitments and reporting performance and issues to service management. Planning remedial action to address any contractual performance issues. Escalating issues to management as necessary
  • Supporting service co-ordination with logging first line customer calls
  • Reviewing & ensuring integrity of data stored in customer systems; managing and updating preventative maintenance sheets; communicating changes to existing contracts as necessary
  • Assist Service management to improve existing services process both in the scheduling area and others (as required)
  • General administration responsibilities – including filing, raise credit notes, closing field engineering jobs on Nav 5.0, etc
  • Provide cover and support to EMEA Service team colleagues as requested by EMEA Service Management
Experience & Attributes Required:
  • Experience as a service scheduler (or similar experience) would be beneficial
  • Must be computer literate – experience of Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills essential as role is customer facing
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
