Part 1 Qualified Architectural Assistant

We are looking for a creative, self-motivated Part I Architectural Assistant, who has great communications skills and is passionate about architectural design.

Role Specification and Duties

You will support a team of Architects working on high-end new build, refurbishment and commercial projects and your duties will include:

• Creation of high quality creative CAD drawings including original and amendments, on a wide variety of multiple projects
• Assist with the creation of Planning Tender packs for submission to contractors
• Assist with the creation of detailed schedules and specifications
• Research and recommend interior design samples in line with architectural brief 
• File management/Completion of detailed timesheets
•  
• Person Specification:

Essential: Part 1 Architectural Degree or equivalent

Demonstrable IT skills:

Vectorworks 2013, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office Suite

Knowledge:

Good understanding of:

• RIBA work stages, & construction procurement methods,
• UK building regulations and planning.

Portfolio to include:

• High level of Design work (including hand-drawings)
• High level of  CAD Technical Detailing

Desirable:  Previous work experience in architectural practices
