Position: Sales Surveyor
Location: Cowfold, West Sussex
Salary: £25,000 Basic Salary + Commission (OTE £31,000)

They offer a wide range of blinds including vertical blinds, roller blinds, venetian blinds, wooden blinds, roman blinds, pleated blinds, velux blinds and panel blinds, they also provide shutters and awnings.
Their reputation has been built on providing a strong local service and advice, providing the best and most imaginative solution to their clients’ requirements.

The Sales Surveyor Role:
The main purpose of this Sales Surveyor role is to measure windows, and sell blinds to domestic and commercial customers on their premises.
You will have a daily appointment sheet, your job will be to visit customers and measure their windows accurately, help them choose the correct type of blind and colour, give advice, overcome objections, take the order and deposits. The appointments are generally pre-arranged by customers who have called in or visited their showroom.
In return, they are offering a basic salary of £25,000 per annum, and 1.75% commission on all delivered sales, with Expected OTE of £31,000.
On successful completion of a probationary period, a sign written company car or van may be provided. It may also be possible to use your own car with suitable allowances.
The Ideal Candidate:
This is a job for a sales person with a proven track record in retail sales, and someone who has a practical mind and can turn their hand to anything.
They need a conscientious person who goes the extra mile to give excellent customer service, and build long lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience within the blind industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Common sense, honesty and the right attitude are definite requirements, as well as being very well organised.
There is no hard sell - their customers’ call on them as experts in their field, they obtain sales through a professional and knowledgeable approach.
Anyone without previous and extensive face to face retail sales experience with the general public need not apply as this is essential.
