A Head for Pensions. A Heart for People.

Our client is a GBP23 billion organisation that protects millions of people who belong to thousands of eligible pension schemes throughout the UK.

Hundreds of thousands of people depend on them to pay compensation for the pension they lost when their employers or former employers went bust and could no longer afford to pay what they had promised.

They don't choose to come to our client, but they're there as the lifeboat when they need them - and our client values every member. For them, it's all about protecting people's futures - and that's their vision. So, why not join them and make a real difference to people's lives?

Our client now has an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager Assistant within their Investment team. This role will give the successful candidate broad exposure to portfolio management with an emphasis on credit analysis within the illiquid credit portfolio. You will work closely with the Portfolio Manager supporting the day to day running of the portfolio, screening and structuring LDI credit investments, as well as interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
It is essential that you can demonstrate a strong track record of fixed income modelling (ideally including LDI/derivatives) and experience liaising with back and middle office on cash management, performance and other management information. Experience in credit investments is preferred.
This is a great role for someone keen to develop their existing skills within a highly supportive environment that values ongoing training.

Our client operates the 'two ticks' scheme. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria for this role will be guaranteed an interview under this scheme.

They are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
