A London market team within a reputable insurer is looking for a Senior Motor Fleet/Trade Underwriter.
You will be responsible for the implementation and development of new schemes within the Motor arena. This will include the writing of wordings/endorsements, operational handling, bordereaux management and IT requirements.
Effectively assessing and finalising new schemes within the allowed timeframes which involves the analysis of financial data, pricing, policy wording, claims data, reinsurance requirement assessment, claims handling requirements and underwriting acceptance.
Alongside the schemes manager you will assist with the creation and delivery of training programmes to ensure that all staff members working to company standards. You will be handling referrals from more junior members of the team. Referral work will include technical assessment of larger, more complex risks and scheme proposition.
To be considered for this role you will need a proven track record in commercial schemes or account management, an ability to draft and review wordings/endorsements, good account development skills, a proficient understanding of the regulatory market and preferably ACII qualified.
