A smaller than average primary school in rural Reigate is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching assistant to support learning across KS1 and 2. The school is 1 form entry and currently supports 180+ pupils. The school has mixed ability pupils including SEN and welcomes pupils from all walks of life. This school is highly regarded in the local community and is recognised as a warm and welcoming learning environment. The school boasts picturesque grounds with vast outdoor space. This is a school where everyone knows everyone and learning is made fun, creative and interactive. The school embraces a creative curriculum with lots of topic based learning. The school offers free flow classrooms but doesn't operate mixed year groups. This school has brilliant staff retention and this is the first time in 5 years that the school have recruited.   • Any experience level will be considered, ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN (direct SEN experience is not essential)
  • Relevant experience/Knowledge of UK SEN settings (desirable)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK


  • Supporting KS1- KS2 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
