Financial Controller

Due to expansion an exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join an expanding business, based on the outskirts of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

This is an extremely varied role, which requires the successful candidate to take responsibility for all the accounting function for a number of companies within the group.

Responsibilities include:

Production of management accounts

Analysis of performance against budget.

Day to day running & management of the finance function, including all statutory accounts/reporting

Taking responsibility for the accuracy of the information produced and dealing with credit control & legal claims.

Budgeting and forecasting

Analysis of income

Company secretarial duties.

Assisting senior management team in providing strategic finance direction.

Reporting on management information including KPI's and summary of business position

Banking and Financial Planning for both UK and International

Other adhoc finance related duties

Qualified accountant with ACCA/CIMA or equivalent is essential

Proven track record in an SME environment

Able to provide financial information to non finance managers

Strong attention to detail

Team player with a flexible attitude
