Sellick Partnership are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Finance Team Leader to join a busy Finance Department. You will work as part of a diverse team, offering a professional service to both the internal and external customers of this public sector organisation.

- Assist in the development of enhanced financial systems, processes and procedures in order to improve and streamline the exchequer functions.

- Supervise and support staff in the exchequer services team in all aspects of income management and payment processing.

- Perform/monitor the performance of monthly reconciliation of various balance sheet control accounts in accordance with timetable.

- Assist in the preparation of annual accounts, in consultation with managers and other finance team members.

- Ensure all year end and month end journals are prepared and input in accordance with the timetable.

- Preparation of statutory returns, including VAT, statistics returns etc. in accordance with set deadlines

You will have excellent attention to detail and will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Finance team. IT and numeracy skills are essential, as are excellent communication skills and customer service skills. Applicants should ideally have experience of managing or supervising a finance team along with experience of working within a large and complex financial environment.
