As one of the UK's largest, privately owned companies after only 13 years of existence our client is experiencing significant growth and is therefore seeking a highly experienced Accounts Administrator who is accustomed to working from a site environment. You will be working in a small team in the office, and will be able to have an input in updating their current systems and bringing a new outlook to the accounts side of the company. You must have exisiting experience working within an Accounts department and be efficient with both Sales and Purchase ledger duties.

Main Duties:

* Processing and raising invoices
* Credit control and Payroll duties.
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Preparing payment runs
* Dealing with suppliers & other members of staff in regards to payment or invoice-related queries
* Management Information
* International Payments
* Checking and approving VAT returns.
* Preparing month-end balance sheet reconciliations
* General Administration duties

We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and traits:

* Previous accounting experience
* Ideally have worked in a site environment previously
* A strong team player
* Flexible approach
* A highly organised and proactive approach to work
* Excel skills
* Experience using Sage
* Ability to work towards tight deadlines
* Excellent telephone manner


Annual salary of GBP25,000-GBP35,000 per annum dependant on experience
20 days holiday + bank holidays
