Our client currently have an exciting opportunity for 3 Payroll Administrators to join their Service Delivery team at their Birmingham Offices, processing employee salaries, amendments and dealing with queries from employees and within the business to company standards.

The role will require extensive knowledge and practical experience of payroll, including calculation of gross to net, tax coding notices, statutory/contractual/voluntary deductions, to ensure accurate, timely & robust payroll accounting for UK & Ireland. There will need to be an appreciation of future changes and the possible impact of these on a payroll function and it is important to have a political awareness and sensitivity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with attention to detail and excellent record keeping.

The ideal candidate would have experience of payroll processing and customer service, preferably with high volume across a diverse population, operating across multi-sites and varying sectors. An excellent, articulate telephone manner is essential, with the ability to deliver satisfactory solutions. The successful candidate would have a sound knowledge of UK PAYE legislation, an understanding of BACS and recall processes, RTI and PAE. Knowledge will be required in Microsoft Office products, with particular proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel, and SAP HR/payroll experience would be advantageous.
