Our Client is one of the leading privately owned transport company operating between Great Britain/Ireland and Europe. They specialise in RO-RO traffic, parcels, pallets & freight.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a FREIGHT SALES EXECUTIVE based directly out of their site in RUGBY. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for the new business development of UK DOMESTIC PALLET business in the CV / LE / NN postcode territories. There will be some opportunities to develop Ireland and International but in essence this is to work across depot catchment territory and develop the depot trade to a target figure of 150 pallets per night over the next 18/24 months. This role will be 90% focused on new business initially with this changing to 50/50 as the depot develops.

You will be required to generate, qualify & appoint all new business leads. Achievement of all KPI'S is expected including a monthly new business target to be agreed on appointment. The ideal candidate will be able to develop & maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all services & rates.

Candidates will have a high level of experience in the UK DOMESTIC PALLET industry, Irish and European market desirable but not essential. You will be self motivated with the ability to work under pressure, able to use own initiative with a pre active approach to daily tasks.

More importantly you must have a proven track sales record with evidence of account negotiation & development
