Our client is recruiting for experienced Care Assistants to provide bespoke personalised care as part of their friendly Taunton team. This unique micro care agency specialises in severe M.E. and is run by its managers and service users. It is rated as OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission who describe their service as "innovative" and "inspiring".
There are two posts available
Personal Care Assistant (various shifts available)
You will be responsible for providing personal care, feeding assistance, snack preparation and light household tasks. You will also assist in improving service user’s quality of life via enabling their personalised well-being programme, which includes exhibiting at the Taunton Flower Show.
Requirements
• You must have at least 2 year’s experience of care
• You will have a NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 qualification (a UK qualification or an equivalent one)
• If you do not already hold a UK Level 3 care qualification then you will be willing to start training for your Level 3 within one month of starting with our client
Domestic Care Assistant (various shifts available)
You will be responsible for providing day-to-day domestic services including light household duties and the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
Requirements
You need to have had some experience of cleaning or care (formal or informal).

• The majority of service user visits are for a minimum of 2 hours at a time
Essential
• Empathetic individual, naturally kind and caring who treats service users with respect.
• A non-Smoker / Non-Vaper as all service users are chemically sensitive,
• Must like cats and dogs as all their service users have pets.
