Our client changes lives. They are the leading local charity working with children and adults with sight loss throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Whether someone is newly diagnosed or has lived their whole life with reduced sight, our client's specialist staff provide a vital lifeline to local people.

They are holding a jobs fair for their care homes for which they have a number of Day & Night Support Worker opportunities available at their Learning Development homes.

The job fair is to be held on Wednesday 16th November, between 12pm ??? 7pm at 21 Hotel Street, LE1 5AW.

The home is for people who have visual impairments and learning disabilities. Each person is supported to make decisions for themselves, with the aim being to support each person to take control over their own life.

You will be responsible for providing a high quality of emotional, physical and social support to people who live in the Home, respecting and upholding the rights and wishes of each individual, according to individual support plans.

You will be required to work flexibly over a 24 hour period seven days a week, including bank holidays and 2 out of 3 weekends.

When rostered to work weekends and bank holidays you will be paid, at an enhanced hourly rate. Sleeping-in duties may also be required for which an additional payment will be made.
