Location: Isleworth, West London
Salary: £27,998 - £38,432
The College is looking for an inspirational lecturer to deliver exceptional teaching and course leadership to learners with autism and complex needs aged between 16 and 25.
They are a unique specialist further education provision for learners aged 16 to 25 with autism and complex needs. They support learners to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to make a successful transition to adulthood and to live and work as part of their community.
They are based in a new campus in Isleworth in partnership with West Thames College London.
The College is growing and is looking to recruit an experienced and innovative lecturer who aspires to shape the service they offer for their young people. They are looking for someone who is a committed team player, with the drive, enthusiasm and passion to develop and teach their learners. You will need to able to teach creatively, adapting to the needs of a variety of learners and be willing to explore new teaching and learning strategies.
Fewer than one in four young people with autism access any form of education beyond school, not because they lack the ability or desire to learn, but because they are held back by a system that lacks the knowledge and expertise to support them.
At the College they believe everyone is entitled to lead a happy and rewarding life, and this includes young people with autism. They are a unique further education college for young adults with autism and complex needs and, as their name suggests, they are ambitious for our learners.
