A life changing and inspiring setting in Lancing is looking for a 1:1/small group Teaching assistant to support SEN learners on there school and college site. Learners are aged between 7 and 16 years and have moderate to severe learning difficulties including Autism and PMLD. Applicants must have a background/experience of SEN and must be able to support learning across all subject areas. This is a fabulous setting invested in meeting the needs of all learners through a broad and creative curriculum which fully utilises their extensive facilities including sensory rooms, hydrotherapy and outdoor learning spaces. Responsibilities:

  • Supporting KS1- KS5 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
