The Commercial Assistant Role includes:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Assistant in our Commercial Department in Walworth Depot. The successful applicant will both assist and deputise for the Commercial Manager after an initial training period.
The role includes:
- Preparing tender documentation including financial modelling to present to the Leadership Team for approval
- Preparation of all tender documents for submission to clients
- Compiling of internal reports including;
- monitoring competitors progress in tenders
- monitoring progress of Surrey bus operation
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on contract variations
- Maintaining back-office systems for Surrey operations
The Successful Commercial Assistant will have the following skills & experience:
- We are seeking an individual who is comfortable at building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be proficient at managing multiple deadlines.
- They must have the ability to interact and understand commercial and finance requirements and translation to tender requirements with experience of preparing reports.
- A high level of computer literacy including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written correspondence with strong planning and time management skills.
- They must be methodical, with a strong focus on attention to detail.
