Job Title: Canteen Assistant

Location: Enfield

Salary: Up to £20,000 per annum

Position: Full time - Permanent, Contract

Hours: The working week consists of 37.5 hours, with each day starting at 7.30 am and finishing at approximately 3.30 pm.

On a day-to-day basis, the company's Canteen services over 350 staff at our three offices in Enfield. The Canteen provides hot and cold food for all staff throughout the day from 7.30am plus lunches for customers when necessary.

Job Role:

The company is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to join their current team of five working in the Canteen, covering the following tasks:

• The preparation of sandwiches and rolls - approximately 300 per day
• Cold preparation for the refrigerated display unit (salads, meat and fish selection)
• Cooking hot meals and puddings
• Menu planning
• Serving customers
• Ordering supplies
• Shopping
• Washing up and clearing away

Qualifications/Experience:

We are looking for someone who;

• Is able to work individually as well as part of a team
• Has high energy levels
• Is able to use their own initiative
• Is smart and presentable
• Is articulate and friendly
• Is flexible and able to do overtime occasionally
• Has good cooking/baking skills

The successful candidate must have a clean driving licence.

Previous experience in cooking for large numbers would be an advantage, although this is not essential. The company will consider someone who doesn't have a catering qualification but enjoys cooking. An aptitude to learn, and a willingness to undertake any task, is essential.

Package:
