Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting young people with additional needs?

We're seeking an experienced Male Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a male student. The school which is located in the heart of the city accommodates for students aged 4-19 with Moderate Learning Difficulties including Behavioural Needs who are struggling to access mainstream education.

For this role, the school require the right candidate to have:

- Experience of working within a similar environment
- Experience of supporting young people with challenging behaviour, emotional/mental health difficulties
- Completed Team Teach training
- A creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style

Responsibilities:

- Work 1:1 with the student to help keen then engaged in learning
- Helping to reintegrate the student back into full time education
- Working proactively with other team members
- Manage behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy
