Estimator
Salisbury, SP4 6LG
£17,500 p/a
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a growing packaging manufacturer based in Salisbury, SP4.
Position Summary
As Estimator, your main role will be to interpret and process quotation requests from customers and the external sales team, actively seeking to convert these to orders.
Additionally, your daily responsibilities will include:
• Take, interpret and process quotation requests from customers and the external sales team
• Using a bespoke Estimating, MRP and CRM system (training will be given)
• Actively seek to convert quotations to orders
• Support the external sales team
• Ownership of requirements quoted, point of contact
• Become an internal contact for new and existing customers
• Contacting suppliers for consumable prices
About you:
The successful candidate will have the required skills and experience to thrive within this role, including;
• Experience within a similar role is desirable
• Excellent telephone manner and overall communication skills, both verbal and written
• Well organised and task driven
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships
• Proficient use of Microsoft office systems, excel, word and other office applications;
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to work on own initiative and to strict deadlines
• An understanding of manufacturing

Utilising a range of techniques, they also manufacture custom foam inserts for a bespoke level of protection.
