Sales Executive with an interest in Outdoor Pursuits, Country Sports

Sales Executive required by a leading UK distributor of night vision technology based in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire. Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Our client distributes the leading brands of night vision, thermal imaging, day optics, protective eyewear, lights & beacons, packs & bags, and protective gloves throughout the UK via their network of wholesalers, retail partners, internet resellers and mail order companies.

With new brands about to be added to their portfolio they have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to work alongside the Commercial Sales Manager and team to maintain and improve existing customer relations whilst using their initiative to exploit new opportunities, increase revenue and grow market share.


Key Responsibilities:

* Providing pre and post sale support to customers

* Gathering customer and market information

* Assist with new product launches & merchandising initiatives

* Involvement in marketing, public relations and special promotions

* Attendance at trade exhibitions; game fairs and product demonstrations

Person Profile:

* Motivated individual that works well as part of a team

* Personable, organised and confident with excellent communication skills

* Literate with good numeracy skills

* Good administrative skills

* Experience or an interest in the outdoor / shooting market would be advantageous

Qualifications/Experience:

• Sales experience would be an advantage but not essential

• Good administrative skills including Microsoft Office
