Salary for Applicants: £17,000

Our client is a well known media company specialising in printing and digital media for over 20 years. Growing from strength to strength over the past number of years, they have identified an opportunity for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team in the Blackpool office.

Position Summary:
As Sales Ledger Clerk it will be your fundamental responsibility to ensure that all sales are invoiced and accounted for.
Your daily role will include:
• Setting up new clients
• Producing invoices
• Banking and reconciliation & working with multiple currencies ( USD, CAD, Euro & GBP)
• Merchant services processing
• Running off turnover statements
• Chasing up outstanding debts
• Sorting out any rebates and filing
• Checking sales tax has been included on invoices
• Providing creditors with VAT receipts

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will hold the required skills and experience to thrive within this role, including;
• Experience within a similar role
• Credit control experience
• General accounting skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work into the evening is desirable however this is not essential
