We currently have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Management Accountant, within our Agriculture Division, based in Brackley.

 

As a Management Accountant your duties will include:

Your key responsibilities will be:

• To create and control both financial & non-financial inputs to the weekly and monthly management accounts (including all ledger entries) to ensure they are accurate, auditable and have integrity.

• To assist in the publication of the weekly and monthly Management Accounts with accompanying financial and operational commentary to the Senior Management Accountant. Generate cost and performance information that supports commercial decision making.

• To support the Senior Management Accountant in creating base line information for the budget and forecast process which will aid in the decision making and target setting process.

• To take ownership of financial and management accounts for specific sites/areas.

 

The Management Account will have the following skills and experience:

 

• The successful candidate will be a AAT Qualified or part qualified studier CIMA

• Be comfortable working with multiple IT systems including Excel, Vlookups, pivot tables and data analysis.


• Be proactive in organising personal workload with minimal supervision and also to communicate and build relationships easily with all key functions within the organisation.

• Knowledge of Great Plains system and accounting experience gained in food industry would be preferable but not essential
