Our client, a leading recycling company in London is looking for hands-on Operations Manager to oversee integrated business operations.

Key duties:

- To ensure all operational systems, processes, infrastructure and policies - are effective, efficient and fit-for-purpose and form a robust base for planning, decision-making and allocation of resources.
- To champion collaborative and cross-organisational working
- To fully support the annual business planning process by implementing robust management reporting and information flow systems
- To provide inspiring leadership to the Operations team ??? ensuring a positive, innovative and high performing culture
- To ensure statutory compliance with Health and Safety legislation
- Creating and presenting reports and findings to higher management as well as training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance.
- Planning and controlling change and analysing statistics.
- Managing quality assurance programmes.
- Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
- Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost.
- Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout.

The successful candidate will have proven ability to lead and manage operational concerns to make sure the business is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients. You will be experienced and well versatile in all aspect of business operation and have relevant management experience with the ability to liaise and manage various other Managers. The successful candidate will also have good knowledge of Excel and other IT systems with excellent communication skills, written, verbal and confident in customer meetings.
