Strategic Communications Manager
We have a new exciting opportunity at Forest Heath District Council & St Edmundsbury Borough Council for a Strategic Communications Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week and will receive a competitive salary of £48,154 - £54,474 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. You will be expected to work across both our offices based in Bury St Edmunds and Mildenhall.

About the Strategic Communications Manager role

We are looking for a talented Strategic Communications Manager to support our Councillors, Chief Executive and Leadership Team as they lead West Suffolk Councils through our next phase of change and transformation.
What we’re looking for in our Strategic Communications Manager
With an appropriate relevant qualification you will be to demonstrate effective leadership and operational management, with a background in strategic communications, media and/or public relations. An emotionally intelligent individual, who is able to grasp new concepts quickly, embrace change and who thrives under pressure is essential.
