Description
The Role
We are looking for a Client Administration Assistant to join the Finance & Accounting team in London. You will be assisting to ensure that the London office adheres to firm policy, rules and regulations in relation to client administration.
No prior experience in this particular area is required as this is unique and highly specialized. Full training will be provided, however some previous experience in Finance will be beneficial to the successful applicant.
We are happy to consider both full-time and part-time applicants.
Responsibilities will include:
Fully understanding the client administration process and rules so that appropriate interpretations of the rules can be made
Actively reviewing all opportunities and establish/ improve procedures
Interact as required with the partner group
Deal with day to day-to-day tasks such as researching information
Work closely with partners and others in Johannesburg and (where appropriate) other offices
Assist with maintenance of a central repository of all information for both partner and accounting reference
Work with the Finance & Accounting Department to provide financial information and reports as may be required, and maintain repository of financial information
Liaise with supporting functions
Skill and Experience Required
Experience of working within a professional services environment
Good academic credentials
Good communication skills (both written and oral); ability to interact with lawyers and technical people
Ability to develop strong relationships with partners and ability to influence and challenge effectively
Strong service orientation
Strong team player
Desire to learn and to keep up to date with developments
Highly organized
Strong IT skills, including experience with spreadsheets, and ability to provide financial information and use spreadsheets as required
Respects and enjoys the diversity of cultural, social and academic backgrounds found in the Firm
