Project Engineer offering a salary of £34,000 to £35,000 plus outstanding company benefits

The Technical Development department currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their team, reporting directly to the Technical Manager.

The role of Project Engineer:

  • Co-ordinate all aspects of machine build projects within the department
  • Collate technical manuals for the operation and maintenance of machines to the Machinery Directive standard, ensuring CE compliance
  • Define, instigate and improve working procedures / project flow on an ongoing basis in line with ISO 9001
  • Maintain and continually improve the departmental productivity and machine efficiency targets
  • Control projects in a fully documented manner in order to meet delivery schedules
  • Supervise team members to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Achieve objectives/targets outlined in the annual business plan

The ideal Project Engineer must have:

  • NVQ5 or HND
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Experience of CE Marking and Machinery Directive (desirable)
