Our client is looking for a hard working, experienced counterbalance fork lift operative to join their warehouse operations team. The primary responsibility is for the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
You will be an experienced fork lift driver who can safely and confidently move heavy, oversized and irregular shaped freight. You will be required to thoroughly inspect and record goods on arrival. When not receiving or releasing goods you are expected to maintain a tidy and organised warehouse, assist colleagues in loading containers and perform stock checks.
Key requirements:
- Counter balance fork lift operator licence
- Physically fit
- The shift is 10am to 7pm but will vary occasionally to provide holiday cover
- Good communication
- Polite, friendly and helpful to delivery drivers
Desirable skills:
- 10-tonne fork lift licence
- Experience of loading and unloading sea containers
- Full UK driving licence
