Position: Team Leader - Property Claims
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £35000 per annum + bonus

Our company client is a specialist commercial insurance business who are actively seeking to add a Property Claims Team Leader to their claims management team based in Cheltenham. They are looking for a proven financial services leader that is eager to inspire others and work closely with senior management on strategy and performance. Main duties for this position will include:
* Managing and developing a team of 12+ Claims Specialists who deal with a caseload of claims and customer service issues across chosen business lines
* Delivering an excellent level of customer service at all times, ensuring business efficiency and identifying process improvements where possible
* Motivating, inspiring and developing team members and providing on-going guidance to enhance their level of service
* Use appropriate MI and reporting tools to analyse performance and present to senior management
* Manage key supplier and third party relationships, ensuring a long-term working relationship
* Review financial metrics to ensure most effective team dynamic and business model
* Staff audits and conducting one-to-one performance reviews with all team members
* Work closely with risk management and compliance teams to ensure regulatory control
* Conduct training sessions when necessary
* Maintain commercial awareness within field of insurance
Main skills and essential background required:
* People leadership and development experience with proven experience leading a team of 10+
* Ability to build and manage operational relationships internally/externally
* Strong exposure to driving customer experience and process improvement
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Claims experience, desirable but not essential
* Commercial insurance knowledge, desirable but not essential
