FINTEC recruit is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for our Technology client based in Edinburgh. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £45k - £56.5k depending on experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Android Engineer your main responsibilities will be as follows:-
- Working as part of an agile product (Android & iOS), designers & product managers
- Solving hard Android Problems actively researching best practice for Android; debugging complex Android issues.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for the Senior Android Engineer role will have:-
- Deep & broad understanding of the Android platform
- Ability to coach other engineers
- Ability to interact with clients & explain technical issues to lay audiences
- Team leadership
- Professional android experience (or equivalent transferrable experience)
- Software experience, with emphasis on object oriented programming
- Broad experience with Android core libraries & popular 3rd party libraries
