Kingdom Coffee – Warehouse Operative

Kingdom Coffee is a leading independent coffee wholesaler, currently based in Reading RG2

Due to a period of sustained growth we will shortly be moving to new premises in RG30 and we are now looking for another Warehouse Operative to join our busy team.

The role will require the right candidate to undertake a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

Goods receiving – control, checking and stocking of all incoming goods
Packing - picking and processing of all orders
Despatch - creating and controlling shipments and raising collections
Ensuring that deliveries are sent on time, raising issues with courier company 
Sending emails 
Despatching goods via pallet
Stock take - ensuring that regular stock checks are carried out 
Ensuring warehouse and other storage areas are kept clean, tidy and stocked at all times

Raising any potential issues and/or improvement directly with Line Manager 

Essential Skills/ Experience:
Candidates should be physically fit and able to lift

Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Good computer skills
Organised with a good attention to detail
Good communication skills
Eye for quality and taking pride in all you do
Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to deadlines
Forklift experience and driving licence essential

£8.00 per hour, 40 hours per week – salary to be reviewed after qualifying period
