Quality Technician

This world leader in hazardous area Purge and Pressurization systems provides customers with an unrivaled level of support for the delivery of solutions to hazardous area applications in the global market. Using the latest design technology for their design work, they have over 80 staff focused on providing creative and cost-effective solutions for their customers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Technician to join their team.

As a Quality Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that their products and services meet the required quality standards, working within the framework of their Quality Management System.

Your role will include:

- Liaising with customers to close out Improvement Reports
- Working with staff across all areas of the company to identify root causes of non-conformances and drive solutions.
- Carrying out inspections at all stages of the product lifecycle
- Providing support and manage relationships with suppliers
- Calibrating and maintaining equipment
- Conducting internal Quality Audits
- Assisting with maintenance of the Quality Management System

For this role they are looking for someone with minimum of three years experience in a similar role and environment, with a related degree or equivalent work experience. Experience with ISO 9001 is essential and experience working with ISO 80079-34 is highly desirable.
