Proportional Lecturer in English (2 Posts)
This is your chance to make a difference as you teach GCSE English and Functional Skills to learners at all levels. You will improve English skills by undertaking initial and diagnostic assessments, formulating individual learning plans and tracking and monitoring the progress of learners. You will utilise a variety of differentiated learning strategies and digital technology to enable all learners to fulfil their potential. With a range of English related themes and activities across the college, now is an exciting time to join our team.
You will either hold a teaching qualification i.e., CTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLS, or be committed to, as a minimum, achieving the certificate in Education and Training (CET) qualification. You will bring practical teaching experience, including teaching functional skills and GCSE, together with a minimum of Level 5 subject specialist qualification in English.
